I wore a jean jacket to work last night. Tonight I have to bring out the down coat again. HAAAAAATE. Okay, we can have spring now. No, really. I'm so desperate for warmth right now I'm about to start playing with matches just for the hell of it. GRRR.

Everybody else is about to start a three-day weekend. I'd feel bad, but if I manage to work through this stupid shift, I get a four-day weekend come Monday. Heh.

I completely forgot that I signed up for this until yesterday. Now I have two weeks to come up with something, so those four-day weekends will come in handy for something, at least. That's what I get for writing five kajillion SPN fics at a time, I suppose. *sigh* (I counted, and it'll only take four more fics before I've written more Supernatural fics than I have for any other fandom. That's like, what, a week and a half at this rate? Sheesh. Well, at the very least, I have a nice long list to work from, and those plot ideas didn't even count the stories I've already started.)

And last but not least, the first few seconds of an atomic blast. Preeeeeetty. *pets, gets radiation poisoning*

No, you're not. If Edgerton's Wikipedia bio is anything to go on, those photos were taken in the late '50s or early '60s.

My grandfather was a signal officer in the Army when they were doing the atomic testing at Bikini Atoll. He made recordings (on vinyl, even) of what it sounds like from the bunker where the Army was observing.

He let me listen to it when I was in 10th grade. You know the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard? It was both exactly like that and absolutely nothing like it at the same time.

I just had to tell you that all your supernatural fics "kick ass"(quoting whoever said that first-maybe buffy)But no really their awesome. And all your plot bunnies are things I think about but have absolutly no talent to write. Which makes them really really cool and fun to read. Ok now Im done with my thank you and will be waiting eagerly for your next fic.
