Mar. 1st, 2006 08:13 pmI am about thiiiiiiiis close to going to Best Buy tomorrow and buying the cheapest computer I can get, even though I'd really rather save up and get a really nice one this time, if only because this piece of crap is pissing me off that much right now. *kicks it*
Great, now that I've kicked it, it's probably going to devour me in my sleep or something. I can just see it now. I'll wake up and the mouse will be chewing on my ear while the monitor will be sucking on my leg like a leech.
You know it's a real sign of spring coming around here when the sign at the drive-in announces that the Sunday flea market is starting up again in three weeks. YAY! *happy dance* (Of course, tell that to the snowy Thursday we're supposed to have. *grumbles*)
I think there needs to be a Supernatural AU set eight hundred years ago or whenever the hell it was where they're all knights. I also think the phrase "eight hundred years ago or whenever the hell it was" is a pretty good indication of why I shouldn't be the one to do it. (Recent and/or American history, I can handle. Medieval, not so much.)
New Project Runway (which will rerun on Bravo a billion times in the next week anyway) and Lost tonight, but I don't feel like watching anything. Kinda sad, since I just picked up Pride and Prejudice, but I'd rather go write more fanfic. I wonder if there's a twelve-step program I can sign up for, and if step one involves not writing slashy stories about the other people in the program, because if so, I'm totally out.
I very nearly bought the Browncoat shirt at Hot Topic today, and instead I bought a long red velvet coat that was on sale for thirty bucks. I'll have to do a little constructive sewing on it because it's a large, but PRETTY.

Date: 2006-03-02 01:55 am (UTC)Definitely wait and save up.
Buying the cheapest computer you can find will only frustrate you with it that much sooner.
Saving up will keep you relatively up to date for a longer time.

Date: 2006-03-02 02:00 am (UTC)Besides, I want a flatscreen monitor so badly this time I can taste it. And I need to get over my desire for a laptop, because I've had one of those and I'm not going through that again, no matter how pretty it was in the beginning. (Then again, that was a cheap laptop.)
