You have to gain weight to play Bridget Jones. Fine. I get that. But the weight that you have to reach to play her? That's my weight.
If the media wants to make a big deal about how you have to get "fat" to play Bridget, the media's obviously too stupid to realize that the "fat" you should still be able to fit into a pair of size 6 jeans from Old Navy. Which means that the "regular" you can probably fit into the size 1 jeans, which can only be worn by microphone stands and Olive Oyl.
Just remember, regular Renee gets engaged to Jim Carrey. Eats-a-sandwich Renee makes out with Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.
