Apparently, there are photos of the Fratards and Hippies half-naked and partying floating around the net. And there's at least one very not-safe-for-work photo that may or may not be real involving someone on their knees.

And I just saw the photos.

I ... I never knew my eyeballs could spontaneously disintegrate like that. Who knew?

(I'm not linking the photos, by the way. I prize the well-being of my friends list and its collective sanity that much. Mmm-hmm.)

Two of the teams for this season of The Amazing Race. They're awful, so of course they're both fighting over first place. The Fratards are a pair of slimy beach bums who will hit on any woman who stands still long enough, and the Hippies are spazzes who see a camera and immediately start acting like morons.

Considering the way the Fratards hit on women constantly and the overcompensating air of it all, the photos are both hilarious and terrifying.

Well, either they are, in which EWWWW, those are the last two people I currently want to see doing that, or they're faking it, in which case HA, serves 'em right for letting photos like that get taken when they know they're going to be on TV.

I might not like watching them on TV -- they themselves seem like okay guys in spite of all of the spazzing they do -- but I really want to think much like with Danielle and Dani, if they're going to go down on a guy, they'll have better taste than to go down on a Fratard.

I maintain that the Fratards have cooties. Oh, yes.

I do love me some hippies, though... have you noticed they always (or at least it's edited so it looks like they are) stop to check out the scenery? I've not noticed anyone else really doing that.

I think my problem with their appreciating the scenery is what Miss Alli pointed out, the way they do it. They do a lot of making a point that they're doing it rather than just doing it, and the fact that they're nice to people kinda fades with me because they do it while acting all "HI MOM! *franticwaving*" to the camera and making stupid "Atza spicy meat-a ball" jokes depending on whichever country they're in. Also, the TTOW shirts, which ... no. I haven't been into teams who bring their own semi-costumes since Team Guido and their matching outfits in season one.

And the thing is I do like them personally and think they'd probably be great to hang with in real life, but they grate with me when they're on my television and between them and the Fratards (who'd grate no matter where the hell they were in relation to me), this season's driving me nuts.

Lake and Michelle need to be eaten by dinosaurs. Mmm-hmm.
