So George Lucas is releasing the original trilogy AS the original trilogy on DVD. Okay, now I can feel guilty about giving him money by actually giving him money. The last thing I was going to do if I wanted to buy the Star Wars movies is, you know, NOT buy the Star Wars movies, and I wasn't about to buy the fucked-with, and why the hell would you fuck with a classic?! restored versions.

I continue to want to thwap Drunken Bee over the head with one of my shoes. It's become an almost comforting feeling, really.

I have fic that I'm going to finish before the finale tonight if it kills me. All I have to do is go buy Smirnoff and junk food so I'll have something to comfort me when it's over and we don't get new Supernatural (hopefully) for four months or so. (Someone tell my brain I don't have to dress up for the finale, as no one on the cast will see me.)

Oh, yeah. Apparently, they're in a double-disc set with the fucked-up versions, which ... meh. I'll keep the original movies and my dad the Penguins fan han have three new hockey pucks.

I just bookmarked the SPN fanfic thread and the TAR forums. That'll keep me from having to even see her recaps on the front page. (Really, she can just shut it with the John bashing.)
