Okay, for some ungodly reason I'm watching the 100 Funniest Movies list, and it's still pissing me off.

So name me your favorite funny movies. Not the best comedies, but the movies that make you laugh hysterically every time you see them.

My favorites?

The Princess Bride, which is one of my three favorite movies of all time, if we're counting the Terminator series and the "Irwin Allen's Attempt to Destroy The Planet in the '70s In Three Crappy Disaster Movies" trio of death and destruction as one movie each.

Arthur, because that movie keeps me laughing for two straight hours without fail.

A Fish Called Wanda, because Kevin Kline in that movie is the best thing on the planet after maple walnut ice cream.

Airplane!, because that's my dad's influence at work.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, because ... well, REALLY.

And an honorable mention to the scene in While You Were Sleeping where the paperboy goes to throw the newspaper from the icy sidewalk and his bike goes flying out from under him, if only because that scene never fails to KILL ME DEAD.

Real Genius. On the one hand, it gave me completely unrealistic expectations of college... on the other hand, not nearly enough of their wacky hijinks involved new and interesting ways to consume alcohol, so real!college wins a point, there.

"Look! It's K-K-K-K-Ken! C-C-C-C-oming to k-k-k-kill me!" *falls over laughing*

Oh, oh, but the scene in RG where they're all studying and one guy at the table flips out, they all watch him run out of the room and then someone else calmly moves up and takes his seat? Stunningly accurate.

Oh, yes. Nervous breakdowns are a waste of valuable studying time.

And the guy who played Hollyfield is one of the panelists on this show. I didn't see Real Genius on here, but it should have been on here.

"And Kent? Stop touching yourself!"
"...it really is Jesus!"

!!! Laslow! Oh man, you have no idea how hard I wished for someone to live in my closet. Possibly there was banging on walls involved, but you can't prove it.

Oh, my God, Real Genius was the BEST. Val Kilmer should have stuck with comedies because he's got amazing timing. "This is ice. This is what happens to water when it gets cold. This is Ken. This is what happens to people when they get too sexually frustrated." *giggles*

AWESOME timing, I swear... and I will say, I liked him in RG better than Top Secret.

"Why am I the only one who ever has that dream?"
