Post-Heroes spec

-- Okay, so everything happened just as Isaac painted it except for the painting of Hiro and Ando showing up. Which makes me wonder, what if the paintings were out of order and Hiro and Ando are supposed to show up later rather than supposed to have shown up that night?

-- So we've got two timelines. In the first, Hiro doesn't show up in Odessa until the day with Charlie and she doesn't know him, and she dies. In the second, Hiro arrives in Odessa practically in Charlie's lap during her birthday party spends months in town to the point where the diner staff know him, and ... uh, she's still dead. Unless this is all being faked to throw off Sylar and Hiro and Charlie are in hiding together. What? If anybody could pull that off, it'd be Hiro.

-- Hiro and Charlie. *squeals* I swear, I haven't shipped a randomly-appearing-in-one-episode relationship on a TV show this hard since Tom and Alana on The 4400, although admittedly theirs was already gone further by the end of that first episode.

-- YAY, Zach! I want to keep him like a puppy. I totally would have had a crush on him if he'd been my best friend in high school, regardless of all the homosexuality. (God knows I've got precedent. *eye roll*) He's a gay Wiccan sidekick. How awesome is that?

-- Two Mohinders in one dream is now my new nightly aspiration. HUMMINA.

-- So Peter got a hit off Claire and off Sylar. Things should get really interesting when THAT pops up.

-- Thoughts on the preview for next week: A.) Is it just me, or did it look like Nathan deliberately drove into those highway barriers?, B.) Hiro made Charlie a roomful of origami cranes! EEEEEE!, C.) Eden got pulled over by Matt? Heeeeeee, and D.) Holy crap, Chandra called Mr. Bennet about Claire? Really? So Chandra only just figured out how to find these people but it sounded from the story Mr. Bennet told Isaac that he knew about these people way back when he first took in Claire. I really want to know exactly where they're getting this information about these people.

Hiro and Ando's painting shows a pretty bloody banner in the background, so it's pretty clear they show up in the wake of the attacks.

Yeah, but up until tonight we didn't know when that banner got bloody.

So they show up in the daytime and the bloody banner's still there. I know it's part of the crime scene, so it's possible it'll still be up the next day, which puts Hiro and Ando at the crime scene within the next twenty-four hours or so. I doubt the police would just leave that behind after examining the crime scene -- the bloody spray's evidence that Cheerbitch was being held off the ground when her skull was cut open.

Is that what it is? I guess I was always under the suspicion that the Hiro/Ando painting was just a general one, as opposed to them being IN Texas at the high school.

Guess that's what I get for not recording the episodes.

Bennet didn't know about Claire's abilities. He suspected she might develope them, but he never knew for sure, until he saw the videotape. He's known about specials for 14 years, but not specifically the one under his roof.

Now, did the call make him more suspicious, and look further into his daughter's activities, leading to discovering the tape, or was that inevitable?

Alright, Sylar gets whammied by Tinkerbell and *that's* what takes him down? All I have to say is, he'd better be *VERY* cranky when he gets up, dammit.

I wonder if Tinkerbell and the Telepath!Man are even going to give Sylar to Mr Bennet? I didn't see the preview - was there anything about Sylar in it?

What hit did Peter get off Sylar? And ohh, Nathan is going to be very cranky when peter's arrest hits the news. I wonder if he will end up winning after all since the timelines are all changing from what hiro saw when he first time-travelled...or i hope so!

Yes, Sylar was in the preview. It showed him shooting a glass somewhere, Chandra with him. Then at the very end of the preview saying "My name is Sylar" or somethin XD

Aside from the one that crashed him into the pavement? ;) He had contact with Sylar at that point more than long enough to get a hit off his abilities.

And yeah, there was just a shot of him saying, "Hi, I'm Sylar," to what looked like a bartender.

I thought Peter was still around because he was still regenerating - he reattaches his leg when the cops pull up.

Which makes me wonder about his powers - apparently he doesn't really have to be in close contact (in this case with Claire or Sylar) in order for him to absorb their powers. Wonder what the time limit is on him retaining his powers.

Boy, it doesn't speak to there being very many *more* of these people, if proportionally:
There are 33 names visible, and we know 6 of them. (D.L., Niki, Isaac, Nathan, Matt, Hiro).
There are 22 "heroes" either confirmed or suspected/implied. Ones not on that list:

Walker father (not counting speculation of Molly Walker)
The Haitian

Ted Sprague

Humor me and assume that the list is a randomized list. We already know 6/33 pictured, or about 18%. Project that number forward--that we know of 18% of the heroes Chandra had discovered total. We know of a total of 22 heroes; we can project from that number that Chandra had uncovered 121 people with super-genomes.

Now I wish I had a screenshot of that list, but over Mohinder's shoulder, where we could see whether there was a scroll bar!

Ok, so Mohinder's father has this list. And most of the heroes have had some experince with HRG/Claire's dad (whatever you wanna call him). Is anyone else thinking the two were working together somehow???
