Yay for Parker for not being annoying anymore! Yay for Mac for finally being back again! Yay for Piz for dancing like the world's biggest idiot! And I'd say yay for Weevil for making a new friend but considering his new friend has a big old bullethole in his forehead ... aw.

His alibi was that he had a show on during the rapes and it is supposed to be a live call-in request show. When Veronica found that out (I think a time she visited Piz at the station), she tossed Mercer out as a suspect (it was the episode that Parker freaked out over Mercer's cologne).

Also, as was noted... somewhere (I think in the TWoP recap) Mercer was "in jail" the night that Veronica was attacked - which, knowing what we now know about Moe, explains why Mercer was surprisingly fine with the whole "extra night in jail" thing.
