I have been staring at my word program for days trying to write fic and -- that's it, I surrender.

The sole exception is The Vampires of Vandling, which I have detailed down to the last centimeter so it's not exactly like I have to do anything other than elaborate on what's in the outline. But the fanfic part of my brain? DEAD.

Oh, man, I beg you. Throw plotbunnies at my head. Anything you've ever thought I should write, anything you'd make me write if you had me sitting at a desk in front of you and I was at your beck and call, any fandom regardless or whether or not you think I've seen it, ANYTHING.

I am really freakin' broken here.

Obviously I can't guarantee I'll write them, because my head's not working.

But still.

I wouldn't be so bothered if I hadn't been off for an entire week straight here and ... NOTHING. For me, this is a drought.

You know what I would LOVE to see? (so much that I might have to write it if it doesn't stir any interest for you?) Dean as a noir-ish detective, falling for dames and taking on lost causes, making a living with divorce cases (the noir version of credit card fraud, don't you think?) and always thinking wistfully of Sam, who left to have a more respectable life and can't be bothered often to take Dean's calls in the state's attorney's office, where he's doing *real* good, Dean, not feeding off the desperate and the lonely.

(If I were adding plot, I'd say: Until one of Dean's dames is arrested for murder, and the brothers have to work together to figure out of she's really innocent, or just playing them both.)

...huh, I have *no* idea where all that came from. I'd never even thought of a story like that before I opened this comment box. *shakes head tentatively* Weird.

Oh my sweet KITTEN, this is such an awesome idea. And I kinda want to steal it, unless TP grabs first dibs. Because Noir is my love and Dean in a fedora and those sad Sammy phone calls (and I bet it's not a Dean dame, it's a Sam dame who gets offed, and Sammy has 48-72 hours to come up with a case against someone else or he's going DOWN) and didn't that Jensen photoshoot have him in a fedora with a gun and SQUEE SQUEE SQUEE...

I have a few that I'll never write, that are bouncing around my head?

One: Jared/Jensen- they did the pilot for Supernatural, but it never got picked up. What happens after that?

Two: Neither went into acting, and now they're both working in Austin as Jared as a barista with bitchy coworkers and Jensen a) bartending (cause that's hot) or b) playing gigs with Kane in the area for cheep while working somewhere else on the side too.

There can never be too many rockstar!jensen or rockstar!dean fics (hint hint, more rockstar!dean? mebbe?)

Ummm. crack bunnies are easy.
How 'bout, a genderswap or bodyswap where they don't realise that they've been swapped? I.e. a spot of spell-induced, specific amnesia or something.
And instead, we/they only note the effects initially. Like, they're worried because clothes don't fit, or they started to go to the 'wrong' bathroom. Might be a bit of a challenge to do the language in a genderswap one.
