The submissions post for [livejournal.com profile] apocalyptothon is open!

There's forty fandoms this time around since the response is greater. For the record, Supernatural pretty much kicked every other fandom's ass, at least until I smooshed together SG-1 and SGA as one fandom. (Although before I did that I counted every Stargate vote as one for each, but since there weren't many of those, I think it was about even.)

The Colbert Report/The Daily Show made the list. Someone IS going to email the Colbert Report when this is over and pimp it, right? Because if anyone would actually appreciate post-apocalyptic fanfic written about his show, it'd probably be Stephen Colbert. :)

I suddenly pictured him and several of his colleagues doing a sketch of the aforementioned fanfic, and I couldn't stop giggling. :))

Ditto. If I get a Doctor I can't research easily, I may freak out a bit.

Which ones are your easiest? I can make a note, just in case.

Nine and Ten, with a dash of Four because there's so much about him out there.

The one that was mostly audio dramas? Nuh-uh.

I wanted to watch more Doctor Who anyway, and I figured this would be a good place to start.

After looking over the list, I don't think I'll be able to participate. It's mostly stuff I don't know well enough to write, or don't know at all. (There are a lot that I don't know at all. Numbers? NCSI? Friday Night Lights?) Hardly any book fandoms, either, which I tend to find easier. You can always go back and look up the canon in a book.

It's too bad, but hey, majority rules.

I possibly FLAILED when I saw the request for TCR/TDS Rapture!fic. HolyshitIhopethatgetswritten.

*hums and pokes and ponders* Thing is? Ficathons make me break out in hives, I get performance anxiety Liek Whoa. But I've never figured out whether it's rude to take a prompt from a challenge and go off and just DO it without signing up for the related challenge. (Not the Rapture!fic, mind, my snark-fu is too weak for that.) It is rude, isn't it?

Dude, I really shouldn't sign up, but there are many, many glee-making fandoms on that list, above and beyond the win that is TCR/TDS. Psych! Bones! Ugly Betty! Dude, the Modepocalypse would be so glorious.

*leaves you a challenge in exchange and tiptoes away*

Because when I was considering setting it up, I asked myself "Would anyone actually write for it?" and promptly responded, "What's really surprising is Trollprincess hasn't already done a qualifying story."
