(Seriously, I'm going tomorrow. I just ... it's like ninety degrees out, and I'm tired and flipping through the classifieds depresses me.)

And now when I plug my Zen into my laptop it freezes up. Won't charge, won't download music onto it.

I've had appalling luck with my Zen too. It was replaced twice under warranty (broke down twice within twelve months) and now that I'm on my third one in 18 months it will no longer start on its own - I have to plug it into my laptop to turn it on. I went back to the store I bought it from and they said they no longer sell them because they've had so many complaints.

Well, I'm currently chatting with a Compaq tech trying to deal with the fact that plugging anything into that particular USB port freezes up the entire computer, while the other port isn't registering a damn thing. *seethes*

So, so, so old. Our 17yo has realized it's cool that he went to a Nirvana show as a wee thing. Finally.
