... about that link to what Sam and Dean really wear.

-- If Sam and Dean are going to invest in anything, a couple hundred dollars on a pair of a good durable boots seems like a real priority from two guys raised by a Marine. You know how long cheap boots last? Not long, that's for damn sure.

-- Speaking as someone who goes to the Salvation Army all the time, it really isn't outside the realm of possibility for them to go in there and find a brand-new pair of never-worn eighty-dollar designer jeans from the Gap for sale. No, really, even in the guys' section. Sure, you have to dig through twenty pairs of jeans you could pitch and hold a circus under and another twenty pairs that went out of style in 1976 and another twenty pairs stained with paint or oil or worse, but having gone through the guys' section for shirts and hoodies guys are just as guilty as women of buying something new, stuffing them in a drawer and completely forgetting they exist.

-- We are remembering it's not their money, right? So even if they were buying them new, the guy whose credit card they're using they can certainly afford it.

-- Dean might not normally shop in a Gap or a Nordstrom's, but then again the salesgirls in my Gap and Nordstrom's are REALLY hot.

-- Considering how freaking big Sam is, I can only imagine it's the exact opposite (and the exact same) as me buying any pair of jeans I see that fit me without having two or three inches of extra denim hanging past my ankles, even if I don't have enough money to waste on them, just because they're there. Seriously, if I were in a store with my rent money, my car payment, and the money I needed to go to Wincon and I saw a rack of 6/7 flared jeans that ended exactly where they're supposed to ... well, I wouldn't be going to LA or have a roof over my head, that's for damn sure.
