You know, I haven't mentioned this yet really, but Jonathan Brandis dying actually hits me in a weird, nostalgic place.

When I was in high school, one of the memories that stands out for reasons I can't even begin to comprehend is my friends and I arguing at Monday's lunch for a television season or two what we'd watched the night before, Seaquest or Lois and Clark.

Stupid, yeah. But still.

The news was a bit surreal and still hasn't sunk in for me. He was one of my major celeb crushes in early high school, and i'd basically forgotten him. Until now, when I see that news and I just feel a bit strange. Wil Wheaton (http://www.wilwheaton.net/mt/archives/001447.php#001447) mentioned it, which I thought was interesting.

Last week I had been wondering what he was up to.
Fuck.
He and J.T.T were my childhood crushes.
Well, it was JTT whose posters I put onto my walls via collage but brandis was always deemed cute.

Awee...he's dead! That sucks. There was just a movie on the other day with him in it..hmm Stepfather 2?

That actually sucks for me and my formerTeenBopper (as well as others) collector. I wasn't girly, except when it came to those magazines.

Are you sure that's not a hoax? I've found three different supposed causes of death (car crash, drug overdose and hanging himself) listed (two of which were on the same page of one site), none of which were from sources I'd competely trust. I don't know why someone would make up something so random, but it seems very odd.

Oh, my God. I did not know this. I have the same thing - it was Lois & Clark, and SeaQuest and the fact that I loved that show with a passion. Not stupid, really. Just very much what Victoria was like while I was still there.
