It's called "Rec-Go-Round," and it's simple: rec me one story you've written, any pairing, any fandom, here in my LJ (no incest fic, please). And then go forth and ask the same in yours.

For Christmas two years ago, I bought my son the anthology called "Tale of the Slayers, Volume One." Basically, it told the stories about the lives and deaths of previous vampire slayers. Mike was enthralled by this and demanded that I write him a story as well. I didn't want to do it because I don't write Buffy or Angel (although I do watch the shows)

The thing I like about this story is that I wrote it before the final season. A couple of things I wrote became canon in the last season, which impressed the crap out of my kid. LOL! In a sense, this is a fanfic story bordering on original. I found myself liking Elizabeth, even though I knew she was destined to die.

Anyway, given the nature of the story, it is a death-fic, but not of a canon character. It's also gen.
