Because of the influx of people using it after the holidays, the dowload store for the Fly pen was really hard to access for a day or two after Christmas. Which kinda sucked, since you get a $10 gift card when you get the pen.
Anyway, as a result, the Fly people are offering four free downloads for the pen. One of them is some sort of study guide for the periodic table. I have absolutely no use whatsoever for that, and yet I squealed and couldn't download it fast enough. Heh.
I have no excuse, although I believe I am morally obligated to blame Tom Lehrer for this.
EDIT: Also, my family played Cranium tonight at the New Year's party and my mom's team couldn't guess the definition of ailurophile. This I found far more amusing than was probably polite. *giggles*
MAD SCIENTIST OF EDIT: Okay, this is officially AWESOME. You can write down the element symbol, the name, or the atomic number and it tells you all about the element. And if you write down GAS, SOLID, or LIQUID it tells you the elements that's the natural state for.
I'm not even a science geek and I'm flailing. (Where's the history geek add-ons, damn it?)
