If Chris doesn't win this it's a fucking CRIME. That dress is amazing.

EDIT: WOOHOO! I forgot that Christian was team leader so of course he'd have to win. STILL.

Dude, seriously. Chris is my designer boyfriend.

I want to set Victorya on fire.

Since she's so afraid of boobs, I want her to make a wrong turn into a Russ Meyer movie.

Christian was team leader. I forgot about that. They always give it to the team leader unless the other person has screwed up REALLY badly.

You know what? I'm willing to let it slide, if only because:

a.) They worked really well together.
b.) Victorya's team didn't win.

I know, but, but... Chris totally gave away team leadership to Christian! Waah!!

Also, how did Rami not get kicked off? I mean, honestly.

Yeah, but remember what happened last time Chris was team leader? I don't blame him one bit. Better to be standing up there on the winning team watching Christian get immunity then standing up there on the losing team with your neck on the line. Again.

(I keep thinking that with Chris, that's one of the main things I'd be proud of when it comes to this season. How's that saying go? "Better to have no monument and have people ask why not than have one and have people ask why"?)

I don't get that, either. I mean, Kit's dress was terrifying but they worked very well together. And the judges knocked Rami for what I've already seen him get knocked for on other forums, where he seems to be so gleeful that he's very good at draping that he'll do it every chance he gets, which ... ugh.

Chris didn't want to risk being auf'd for being team leader again. Can't really blame him.

Rami didn't get kicked off because while what he made was boring and NOT avante garde, it *was* well-made, and Sweet P's day dress was simply beautiful. We lost Kit because their outfits were both, well, in Tim Gunn's words, "poor-looking", and the avante garde dress was badly made.

And, again, the team leaders get the win and the auf.

Rami is very, very pretty, but those draperies!

See, that's why I hate the naming of team leaders -- because as long as you aren't one, you're safe. You won't win, but who needs that when you've got a guaranteed pass to the next challenge?

I know. But I understand the reasoning - in the real world, that's exactly what happens. Leaders get all teh credit and take all the blame - at least, good leaders take the blame.

Just as Chris did for his challenge. He didn't make the worst outfit of the three, but when asked who should go, he said he should.

I totally love Chris. He's quietly snarky, he's able to *learn* - note that his last three dresses were beautiful and even the coutour gown wasn't costumey? And he works and plays well with others.

Then again, despite the editing, everyone likes Christian, too. They just fed off of each other beautifully. So adorable.

Hmm. Interesting, wasn't it? The two same sex teams were the ones who made the top two.

I'm sort of hoping the challenge where she loses involved having to make three completely different outfits for women of serious boobage and other curviness. *nods*

I popped over to TWoP and somebody over there said, "What is this vendetta that Rami has against the left breast?!" Which, HA.

They should have to make work outfits for former porn stars with implants to wear to job interviews or something. They'd both be screwed.

[Edit - Oh, wait, Christian? Hmph. I suppose that's acceptable too.]

It really is. That they got it designed and finished in two days is just shocking, the amount of construction on that headpiece alone.

*shrugs* Christian was team leader. I'll take it. I'd rather Chris would have won immunity, but they won as a team, they worked extremely well together, and looking back on that Christian put a lot of work into that dress as well. (He would have had to, really. He was the one who suggested the rings of fabric, and ... well, as much as I love Chris and know damn well he's the reason that came out executed so brilliantly, even he couldn't possibly have done that alone.)

*nods* I'm definitely okay with Christian winning, but man. It would've been nice if it was Chris, though, because I love him dearly. Completely forgot that Christian was team leader, though.

All in all: Go Team Fierce!

I don't know. It looked he was tearing up after they received their critique and were walking off the catwalk. One of these days, he'll be gone. Unfortunately, too many good designers will have fallen before that comes to pass.

I just checked Wikipedia. Eight challenges, and he's been on the bottom five times. FIVE FUCKING TIMES. He's got the worst record there.

Oh, please, oh, please let him get eliminated next week. *crosses fingers*

Now now, let's not get crazy and waste a perfectly good elimination on getting Victorya off of our screens.

From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
Heh. This is true.

I'll savor either elimination at this point. Ricky's where he cries yet another fucking river, or seeing that supposed spoiler where Victorya gets auf'd and throws a temper tantrum come to pass. (Oh, I hope that's true and that they film EVERY DAMN SECOND of it.)

Biggest whiner, Ricky or Andre?

From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
Ricky, definitely. Andrae was never even in the same class as him. Andrae got all of his crying out in one spectacular outburst, Ricky's been dragging this squeaky fountain for more than half a season now. And for all that Andrae's lows could be strained, his highs were faaabulously high. (See: running giddily through flocks of pigeons, leaping joyously from the front door of the Atlas, etc.)

Besides, Andrae eventually got at least a little endearing -- Ricky's becoming more and more irritating the longer he stays past people who are more talented. Even Andrae won a challenge (with Daniel V., but still).

And the promos don't make it look like Ricky's almost-losing streak is going to change. Or his crying streak.

DUDE, EIGHT CHALLENGES AND HE'S BEEN ON THE BOTTOM FIVE TIMES. HE'S GOT THE WORST RECORD OF EVERYBODY LEFT. KIT HASN'T BEEN IN THE BOTTOM EVER.

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCKITY FUCK?!

I mean, I get why not this challenge, because he wasn't team leader. But WHEN FUCKING WHEN?!

Yeah, that was just some fucking STUNNING work there. Dear god.

I'm sad about Kit (who, much like Kevin, basically had a flawless record before that), but it is true that dress didn't look like anything I couldn't make.

fkdsajfkdk Chris and Christian's dress was SO GORGEOUS. And they worked so well together. Oh. I love them. <3

Victorya's jacket was gorgeous also, but ew, Victorya. Plz to be leaving kthnx. (I'm rather fond of Jillian, though. Her deadpan demeanor is kind of endearing. Pretty sure I'm the only one in that camp, but.)

I felt bad for Kit. Did not care for the dress, but she was so enthusiastic about it. Aww.

Sweet P continues to be adorable.
