You know, I've been pretty restrained in my Kyle/John shipping. Occasionally it pops into my brain but it doesn't stay there. It just rides through my mind all pretty and troublesome, and then it leaves to make room for my Wincest radar.

But ... but ... oh, dude. I like Anton Yelchin as an actor. He's kinda dorky and he's pretty good, but he's like this scrawny little thing and oh, MAN, can't you just see him fanboying the fuck out of Christian Bale!John Connor? Just all, "I'll do anything you say! Oh, wow, what are we going to do now, sir? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Kinda bouncing around him all eager to please like that little dog bouncing around the bulldog in those old cartoons? And John Connor just being all stoic and serious and here's this kid who's his DAD, and --

Wow. Reese is gonna be younger than I expected. Or maybe Anton just looks perpetually 17 to me. I dunno.

Also WOW. Marcus is kinda hot too, yeah? And isn't T4 supposed to focus more on Marcus than on John?

I thought I had heard that. Maybe not Marcus, maybe some other character? I just assume Marcus because he's the only other name.

Bale is remarkably good casting. His style of acting lends itself very well to this - his Connor is likely to be a mirror of his enemy, almost as implacable and mission-oriented-before-all- else as the machines he's fighting.

Someone who's stared into the abyss a tad too long, s o to speak.
