Things I learned today while doing the hair and makeup thing

1. I like my hair better straight than curly. Oh, yes.

2. Lipstick and lipliner in one is officially my favorite makeup ever.

3. That concealer and foundation combo I bought yesterday? I can't say I don't like the way it turns out in the end, but it bugs me because it may be a tiny shade too dark. Which drives me nuts mostly because it's the second lightest color there is. Yes, I'm the palest pale that ever paled. Good jogging Jesus in a bandanna and gym socks, I'm amazed I'm not see-through.

I have to ask... what is it about men that makes us worth this effort? Some of us don't even shave and yet women use/apply

Rouge, mascara, lipstick, blush, perfume, pierce various portions of your anatomies, and shave/wax painful areas...

WHY?!?

I like to apply makeup for the same reason I dye my hair different colors and get tattoos -- because I like to draw on myself and people look at me funny when I walk around with Sharpie marker on my face.
