-- I took a ride down to the mall to spend some time at Borders and price laptops. I probably won't buy a new one, although I am sorely tempted. There was a perfect one for my needs on sale for $450, but that was after a rebate that expires tomorrow. Oh, that's just perfect.

-- Literary tattoos. Heh. Two of mine totally count. Looking at all of those makes me want to get this again (I've toyed with getting it for years 'cause, you know, poetry AND apocalypse) :

That, or a towel. Although I don't know too many people who'd get why I had a towel tattoo. *shrugs*

That's another reason I might not get a laptop, too. Because I really, really, REALLY want another tat.

-- You know what I think is hindering my work on the new novel idea? I haven't decided on a setting. It really helps for me to pick a place and set it there. The Books of Boggs is set in the Scranton area, the new novel is set in DC. My problem is that I just don't know any other places personally like that. I'd use New Orleans but the only time I was there was pre-Katrina and ... well. Hmm.
