We're going to the gay bar tomorrow, not tonight. WOOHOO!

In other news, I now have my dad's tiny screwdrivers, the instructions for installing the new keyboard, and the keyboard itself. Uh, wish me luck? If my computer doesn't work after this ... well, it's my ass.

EDIT: Woohoo! I installed the new keyboard all by myself. And now the shift key on the right side works. \o/

Of course, now I'm a little more used to using the one on the left, which ... heh.

Huh. New keys feel funny. :)

Isn't it satisfying when you install some hardware all by yourself? Just last night I fixed the sliding drawer for my keyboard. It was just a couple of screws, but I felt so butch afterwards.

I love doing stuff like this. I even loved taking the laptop apart when I had to to prove that HP were a bunch of cheating lying dicksmacks who didn't fix my laptop.

I'm horribly tempted to take apart my desktop now. I don't really use it anyway so even if I break it it doesn't really matter. And I like poking at the insides to learn about them.

The screws are about as far as I go. I can't even install a new printer without having to call the company. And God knows, I hate calling them. Damn stupid outsourcing, shouldn't an American company have their service center here, and not in India?
