I dl'd this movie yesterday - how did you know?!
And I love it, I love it so much. I want to hug it and squeeze it and buy it fancy shoes.
'Cause it's not a cliche-fest or a PWP. There are characters that I genuinely like (even when they're not making out!). The secondary characters aren't just background, everyone in this movie is required for the story.
And I love the music. Shane Mack is my new "Why isn't this guy famous yet?" (Although I kinda thought he was a she until I searched youtube for the "Lie to me" video.)
Also it obviously took time to make, this wasn't cranked out on a weekend. (Brad Refroe's hair grows 1-2 inches by the final scene.)

And I forgot to mention that the scene you posted isn't even my favorite. Nor is their first kiss though that is also sweet.
No - my favorite scene is just before the first kiss where Shawn is looking at Zach's drawing journal which visible freaks Zach out. 'Cause it's so real. Those are his thoughts and feelings on those pages and someone it looking at them. Studying them.
That's a huge show of trust. At least as big of a risk as the kiss.
