-- Hopefully I'll get my story posted today. Oh, man, I so need the pick-me-up, too, I swear.

-- My current plans now that summer hiatus is upon us is catching up on stuff I fell behind in since the beginning of the season. I have Terminator to watch already, and next up is Reaper (which I've been kind of following and then I read about the finale, and I know I was iffy on the beginning of the season but damn, does that finale spoiler hit my kinks something hard) and Life On Mars and then maybe after I finish watching those I'll get my grubby paws on Gossip Girl. Yay for catching up on old fandoms and snatching up new ones! \o/

-- Also, I haven't seen last night's Top Chef. Although I've been spoiled and MOTHERFUCKER. I had my problems with Dale but he was a damn good chef and it's really starting to piss me off that better chefs than Lisa are leaving and her and her unwashed hair are still there. And I perked up today when I saw there was a Top Chef marathon on Bravo but it turned out to be season two. And I flipped onto it just in time to see Betty's horrible witch face treating Marcel like shit. Ew.

-- Officer breast-feeds quake orphans. That's a really awesome story.

Reaper is one of those weird shows that don't seem like much for the first few eps and then once you start watching it, it gets better and better.

I wanted Lisa to go home. Bad attitude, bad hygiene and just bad all around. I didn't like Dale, but damn...

She makes me miss Eric, who admitted both times he was at the bottom, "Yeah, you're right, I screwed up my dish." She's always so adamant that the judges are clearly on crack for not thinking her dish is the best thing ever and flashes her bitchface and oh, hey, did you guys notice that Andrew/Spike/Dale/anybody else but me did something EVEN WORSE?

And the hygiene thing is just ... ugh. On any other show I might give her a pass, because these shows are always so exhaustive and contestants usually look like shit by this point, but she's preparing food. It's somewhat nauseating. And it's a shock to see the commercials where they're all prepared for the camera and she's got clean shiny hair and makeup, 'cause I'm always like, "Who the hell is -- oh, right, that's Lisa."

Jennifer was my favorite, but Spike's alright. Richard's okay, too.

Dale was just getting too pissy lately.

I really like Stephanie, and since we haven't had a female Top Chef winner yet I'm really hoping she takes the whole thing. Richard's my second choice right now, although he's yet another hopelessly dorky socially inept contestant and it's always a little hard to root for those guys.

Yeah, Dale's attitude was getting really bad, but at least he was still (up until now, anyway) one of the best chefs there. That sure as hell beats Lisa, who's a complete snot and doesn't even have any apparent talent to back it up.

Lisa is annoying me. She's whiny and incompetent and unable to accept criticism and unable to accept responsibility for her own fuck-ups.

Dale??? Noooooo.... He wasn't my favorite, but he was in my top 4.

I liked Dale, though I admit that he's been a rather whiny jerk the past couple of weeks. He looks like he hasn't been sleeping at all. But I liked him and I thought he was a great chef and I can't stand Lisa.

So I am very sad about last night's decision.

'Kay, I totally teared up.

And Reaper is another one of those that looks like pure braincandy fluff and then you notice it's been sneaking real stuff in the whole time.

DEAAAAAAAATH! DEEEEEATTTTHHHH!

Yeah, I was pissed that Dale went, but Grant called it halfway through the episode based on the precedent of Restaurant Wars ECs going home.
