Shut up, Miguel. And Nancy.
May. 30th, 2008 07:59 amWow, show me the judges in the their natural element and I come out of it with two completely different opinions. Vincent? Wow, he's awesome. And helpful, and gives good advice, and teaches appropriately. Nancy? Total psycho. The hell? Elizabeth had a point about "snobby" being a really bad adjective and not helpful at all, and Nancy completely cut her off and dismisses her in her blog. I already didn't like her for all that masculine/feminine crap and now this. You know what? Fuck you bunches, Nancy. Honest to fucking God, y'all.
Nick was amazing. He really deserved that win. And he's really starting to grow on me -- I can remember a few episodes back where I wasn't sure he was supposed to be there.
Mochi ... also amazing. She needs someone to tell her that her age is more of a help than she thinks, and that her body is way better than Janelle's will ever be. It's not even an issue of the weight difference, it's an issue of Mochi knowing precisely how to move her body by now and Janelle still having no clue for some reason. It's also that Mochi takes criticism (even bad criticism) pretty well while Janelle takes everything so fucking personally. She's got such thin damn skin.
Cody ... man, poor Cody. That backstory was awful. And with all that stuff going on, I don't doubt that he has a really hard time letting things out and Nancy's bullshit coaching. I really wish Vincent had pulled him aside and had a heart-to-heart instead of Nancy going at him all the time like she did, because I think that would have helped immensely. He does have the technique down pat, though. I'm pretty sure he could dance anything no matter how complicated in his sleep.
Miguel ... well, jeez, Miguel, I could swear you said your dad looked down on your dancing and yet he was organizing dance routines in your driveway? Oookay. Did the sympathy angle not work the way you wanted? Whatever. I still don't like you, and I'm starting to think you might have a drinking problem, but I'd rather you than Janelle. You both looked really out of place during that performance but she's so not ready to win this show. Not that I think you have a shot, but still.
Janelle, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out, sweetie. She had a graceful exit, at least (for her, anyway), but now she can go home to her big gay boyfriend (seriously, come ON, obviously she's been too busy with her own needs to develop gaydar) and maybe this might be the inspiration for her to maybe learn some technique. Honestly. On the plus side, she was an adorable stumpy little two-year-old, so she's got that going for her.
God, I think that's the most I've ever had to say about that show.
Man, where the hell are the rest of my new reality TV premieres? I'm almost out, damn it.

I'd be just fine with any of those three winning. Janelle should have been gone a long time ago, and Miguel - no. Just. No.
