You know, I keep trying to be depressed that George Carlin's passed away, and I can't.

Not that he wasn't my favorite comedian pretty much ever, or that I'm not sad that we're not going to hear from him anymore.

But he's on the other side right now taking a page from Neil Patrick Harris's book and snorting blow off a hooker's ass while driving fast, there's no assholes around to piss him off, and goddamn it, he's fucking thrilled.

That's a really good way to look at it. I was bummed that he went out the way he did, all hate and crank, but now he's hopefully found some peace. So, good for him.
