This article about a couple who downgraded from a larger home into one the size of a shed amuses me because it fits me and my brother so well. Both of us would be perfectly content in a tiny little house like that. Bryan just wants somewhere to play his video games and prefers his futon over a real bed. And I'm actually fine as long as I've got a laptop and a comfy chair. Besides, I don't like a ton of furniture everywhere and that means a metric assload of floor space to keep clean otherwise so hey, bring on the tiny house. :)

After spending 2 years in NYC essentially living in a 9x11 bedroom, after 2 years in Boston living in a 10x12 bedroom, after four years in college in dorm rooms...

...having a living room and a kitchen again, ones I can USE, with a sofa to sit on and floor space all my own, has been bliss. It doesn't need to be some big McMansion operation for me but I really like having three whole rooms. With a few square inches that I don't strictly need.

(Right now it's me and the BF sharing a three-room apartment: living room, bedroom, and kitchen/dining room. That seems to work out really well.)
