So if anybody missed it, after Thursday's episode Kripke basically said, "Dudes, calm down. Dean's not a dick."

... seriously?

I'm still having trouble believing anybody took that conversation seriously, I really am. I'll admit it was badly written, but ... for real? Granted, I just had this conversation with my own brother that day:

Me: You should meet Jess's brother. You'd get along great.
Bryan: Oh, yeah?
Me: Then again, he is a douchebag.
Bryan: So? I'm a douchebag.
Me: Well, I can't argue that.

Usually, this is followed by me saying that I'm a perfect little princess and I never doing anything wrong. But you get the gist.

I mean, "only dicks get ghost sickness" has got to be, if taken in all seriousness, the stupidest reason I've ever seen on this show for somebody get some sort of supernatural malady. That conversation didn't sound like a serious conversation, that sounded like Sam covering up for the actual conversation, which probably sounded more like this:

Sam: So why did Dean get it and not me?
Bobby: You really can't figure this out?
Sam: ... what?
Bobby: Well, you WERE immune to that demon disease back in (whatever that town was in "Croatoan").
Sam: Yeah, but that doesn't mean that I'm immune to ghost sickness.
Bobby: It's a pretty good sign, ya idgit.
Sam: *pause* I can't tell Dean that right now.
Bobby: *sigh* Yeah, I figured as much.
Sam: So what the hell am I supposed to tell him?
Bobby: Weeeeelll ...

Enter, "You're a dick."

i took it as the dicks got the disease because they were dicks to Luther and that, yeah, Sam was immune because of the demon blood immunity thing he's got and Dean wasn't and so he got it and Sam didn't because they touched the guy who WAS infected..

Does Bobby even know about the demon blood thing? I mean...plus there was the whole Lillith thing "You know why!"

I seem to remember a similar explosion when Dean asked Sam "dude could you be any more gay?" I shrugged it off then and I'm shrugging it off now. It's dialog between two brothers, what do people THINK guys talk about and call each other???? /my 2 cents
