Okay, so I skipped out on last season of TAR. After seeing the teams, I was just a bit too meh to care.

However, the new teams are out for this season. YOU GUYS. Mike White and his dad are one of the teams! You might recognize him best as Jack Black's substitute teacher best friend in School of Rock. He wrote that, The Good Girl, and Chuck and Buck. Wheeeeee.

Okay, now I have to watch. \o/

In other news, apparently Carla gave her Super Bowl tickets to her husband and stepson. Aw. Love her. I hope she wins fan favorite.

EDIT: I've got Blago's closing argument on TV right now. BWAHAHAHAHA. I'm waiting for the press conference where he hauls a cross out and nails himself to it. "DON'T IMPEACH ME, I CAN HEAL THE SICK!"

Hee, I figured she'd do that with the tickets, since she'd said during the challenge that she didn't know much about football but they love it. I think I love her more and more, and I will be very sad if she goes away.

Oh, well. As a good Portland, Oregon booster, I'd hoped you had watched it. I watched the last episode because of it ending in my town. Had you been watching, I would've pointed out to you "Okay, that team just missed a clue by half a block. And see that marquee they passed? That's a porn theater."

But Mike White, huh? Interesting. Hope he doesn't burst into flames in the sun. (I've never seen that guy in the light.)

Eh. You know, I missed one episode and then I missed another, and another, and by the time I would have tried to catch up everybody's reactions weren't exactly positive.

HEE. I know, right? There's a quote in the article Jezebel threw together about their team where he described himself as "entertaining, thoughtful and ridiculously pale." Also bisexual, which I didn't know. Oh, and apparently his dad used to write for Falwell and Robertson, got married and had two kids, realized he was gay, tried to pray the gay away, and when that didn't work amicably divorced his wife. He's married to the same guy he's been with for almost thirty years. I kinda love his dad to pieces now. :)
