... what would you want for YOUR last meal?

I want shrimp with broccoli and pork fried rice with extra brown sauce. And ice-cold Pepsi in a can.

Okay, I mostly want that right now. But still.

My dad's impeccable fettucini carbonara, with a spinach and garlic salad and Captain and Coke to drink.

Probably Italian, a really perfect lasagna... with red wine and salad. Or a perfect rare steak, with french fries and mushrooms.

Okay, I was hungry before, now I'm yearning.

I like WEIRD FOOD. I would want escargot, mashed potatoes with garlic and asiago, a giant hunk of parmesan cheese, skim milk, REALLY good tomatoes with salt and pepper, and MARZIPAN. So basically... not a meal at all.

This is very hard, as a foodie and as a lunatic. Maybe a rare, aged steak or lamb chops, my great grandmother's chicken and dumplings (which cannot be reproduced because it takes specific water to make the dumplings), my grandfather's dressing, and custard for desert.

Something that would take a really really long time to eat.

Seriously, though, biscuits. And a stew with dumplings. Yum!

Because my . . . sensitivities would kill me, my last meal would involve a huge medium well done T-Bone steak and ice cream. Lots and lots of ice cream. There could be mashed potatoes and corn on the cob just to round out the meal. Those wouldn't kill me though, lol.

My dad's fajitas... with mashed potatoes and corn on the side. And a giant chocolate shake.

I think.

We'll start with foie gras, followed by a green salad, then a rare teriaki steak, with roasted garlic red potatoes (or maybe au gratin) and finish off with chocolate lava cake. Hmmm, now I'm *hungry*. No, wait, tea smoked duck and green beans. No, *quail*, that's it - pan seared quail.

My mom's chicken and rice with a simple green salad and her special vinagarette dressing, corn on the cob cooked on the grill, and a frosted chocolate brownie for dessert.

Caprese salad (tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella with oil and balsamic vinegar), a couple slices of Grandma pizza, a flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce, aaaand Dr. Pepper.

Freshly made cherry coke to drink. Buttered sourdough toast and scrambled eggs, with a side of rice pilaf and french fries. And for desert...a heated cinnamon bun and coffee ice cream.

I had all that stuff in a Vegas trip for my brother's wedding and I'd want those memories in my head before I died. And the desert stuff I always ate alone for comfort, which would be a nice taste to leave in my mouth.
