Luke, sweetie, Jen wasn't calling a deaf guy a bitch, she was calling YOU a bitch.

Having said that, Jen started it. She didn't need to climb all over his shit and I got the impression his pushing her away was less a hard intentional shove as it was a defensive maneuver.

As for the second time, I turned away for a second -- it looked to me like momentum carried Luke into Jen rather than an intentional bodycheck. Either way you look at it, I am NOT looking forward to this pit stop, I swear to God. *sigh*

Of interesting note is that she didn't just say bitch, she signed it as well. I wonder if she came into this knowing that sign or if Luke taught it to her.

Yeah, it all became incredibly ridiculous and over the top. I know and like a lot of people like Jen. I've seen encounters like that play out many, many times. They perceive themselves as being wronged, assume that it was intentional, and give it back twofold. But it really didn't anything whatsoever to do with Luke being deaf. This could have happened to Victor, Cara, or any of the others. Him and Margie bringing that up would have been equivalent to Kisha and Jen saying that Luke pushed her in the first place because Jen was black. He just got a little over-excited.
