-- I haven't been that interested in any version of Star Trek other than TNG, but I flail like a lunatic every time I see a commercial for the new movie.

-- Why are people posting lengthy J2 AU fics when I'm trying to write?! NO. STOP THAT. Don't you understand you're torturing me? *pouts* (I'm opening it in another tab and I'm not allowed to read it until I finish chapter three AND four. Hmph.)

-- Aw, Jensen. That's a definite FML moment right there. (Hint: Look at the picture.) I can't help but laugh, but seriously, that's gotta SUCK.

-- I'm really trying not to jinx the new story, but I can't remember the last time I've had this easy a time writing a story. I'm writing while I've got the TV on, you guys. I don't DO that.

-- 6 Random Coincidences That Created The Modern World

-- What films make you cry? I spend the last half-hour of The Color Purple bawling like an infant. I sob during Life Is Beautiful. I'm useless at the end of My Dog Skip. And I'm worthless at the end of Iron Giant. Oh, and I cry during the "Nearer My God To Thee" montage in Titanic. Yeah, yeah, sue me.

Really?? Where??? I need something to distract myself from reading about biosocial excuses for rape.

Try here. That's got to be better than rape research. *makes face*

Pretty much anything is better than rape research, but I suppose if I want to be able to say "hey, I can teach about dead queens AND real live women" on my CV someday, I gotta have something to say about real live women...other than my own personal experience that is.

The end of Priest makes me bawl like a baby every single time. And pretty much all of Breaking the Waves, which considering it's almost three hours long, leaves me completely dehydrated.

Aw, Jensen indeed!

I cried during "Defiance" where they had to shoot the horse. Oh, Daniel Craig, you and your blue eyes and your fake Russian accent and your manly, manly man-pain.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Yes, despite the fix-it sequel. I bawl my eyes out every. damn. time.

Iron Giant is the only movie I've ever cried at. That 'Superman' breaks me every damn time.

Agreed on The Iron Giant. And the ending to Into the Wild was one of the rare occasions I cried in the movie theater.

I'm starting to believe this is a Misha prank. Only he would be so thorough at trying to crush Jensen's tiny speck of remaining online dignity.

I cry at that bit in Titanic too. Also the old couple and the Irish woman with her kids.

Not a movie, but the Jurassic Bark episode of Futurama makes me bawl like a baby. And it's one of the few things the manliest men on fark will admit to sobbing at.

But for a movie that will leave you a completely shattered emotional wreck, dehydrated and sore-throated from crying non-stop, nothing beats Grave of the Fireflies.

Oh, and since XKCD summed it up better than I could:

I've seen every episode of Futurama several times, but I refuse to watch "Jurassic Bark". Just reading the episode synopsis on Wiki made me tear up.

And a big YES to Grave of the Fireflies being a total tear-jerker.

I will never forgive my brother for recommending Grave of the Fireflies to me without warning me first. I was a complete wreck. Just thinking about it now makes my heart clench.

I saw the making of Rabbit Proof Fence and bawled my eyes out, I have no idea what I'd do if I saw the movie.

Excellent as I'm certain it is, I don't think I can watch it.
