Stanford has TOTALLY SOFTENED UP their rejection letter since they negged me back when I was applying. It used to include the phrase "your application did not meet our rigorous admissions requirements." Awesome. My friends and I (at an Ivy League school) practically formed a support group for each other, those of us who'd gotten that Stanford rejection letter! Heh!
