Everybody else listens to j-rock and boy band pop, and I'm still hooked on Punjabi radio. Thereby proving there's something seriously bloody wrong with me.

You know, it's weird. Every year, I usually follow up the Oscars with a rant about the crap that pissed me off or amused me, but this year, aside from that Sean Penn can blow me, I've got nothin'. I had a blast at norabombay and fairestcat's party, but the show itself ended up being a little meh. (But for a good reason, because yay, Peter Jackson & crew!)

The Punisher -- I like this trailer mostly because if I turn down the volume and close my eyes at just the right time, it looks like a movie about the fierce battle between Thomas Jane and John Travolta over whose chin looks more like an itty bitty butt.

Mean Girls -- Hollywood, I hate to break this to you, but Lindsay Lohan would not be unpopular anywhere. I don't care if the next movie she's in features her character transferring from the poor section of the Bog of Eternal Stench.

Laws of Attraction -- Pierce Brosnan is hot. That is all.

"The Passion of the Christ" has made $125 million since opening last Wednesday. You just know some numb Hollywood executive somewhere is trying to pitch a sequel.

"... so then he comes back from the dead to get his revenge, and he gets teamed up with a dog. Ooo, or Jackie Chan! And then there's this huge gunfight with exploding Romans and Jesus can wear some quality product-placed sunglasses ... hey, let's get John Woo to direct! We could make the Holy Ghost a total bad-ass who shows up during the gunfight as a dove and morphs into a ninja! What do you say?"

Um, I think I need to stop making so many sacreligious jokes.
