I'm writing the dead_earth timeline as a fic. It rolls out of my brain better that way.

I also started a list of things about the Buffyverse that pissed me off. (Yeah, this'll be short. *snerk*) Oh, and then there's a review of whatever movie I go to see tomorrow, although I get the impression Sky Captain would be an easier review. Also, TroNoWriMo. Lots and lots and LOTS of TroNoWriMo.

With this amount of writing to do this weekend, I give my fingers another day and a half before they start popping off like Barbie legs given a twist in the right direction.

Yay! A Terminator 4 that won't have much Arnold! It'll probably suck, but, yeah, watch me care.

Also, I haven't seen Swing Kids in so long, I forgot how slashy Peter and Thomas were. Jesus, half the time, they're dancing with each other. It's horribly amusing. :)

Just got back from seeing "Wimbledon" ...

... and Paul Bettany is the most adorable British man on the planet to me right now (and most of the time), but you knew this already. Also, my Magic Voice would like to bear the snarky, noncorporeal children of his eminently fuckable Magic Voice. As for me, I'd like to lick his hipbones, but I doubt his wife would approve.

Oh, and Kirsten Dunst? Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. Your breasts do both. Start wearing support undergarments or I'm sneaking into your house in the dead of night and duct-taping those suckers down before you lose an eye while jogging or something.

EDIT: Also, I have Halloween lights again! Yay! Well, these ones are purple instead of orange, but now my room will be officially lit up for my favorite holiday. Now to string them up over my computer ...

A couple of thoughts on a few lines from this article ...

Pharmacist Gene Herr was fired by Eckerd's Drugs after he refused to fill a prescription for a rape victim seeking emergency contraception. -- This man is an asshole. Enough said.

"More people, including pharmacists, are becoming informed how certain drugs operate -- and those who want to avoid ending the life of a human being would avoid those drugs," she said. -- You dumb son of a bitch, every drug can end a human life, a walking talking human being who can walk right up to you, get a prescription for painkillers, then go home and swallow the whole fucking bottle.

You know what? If your moral or religious beliefs get in the way of doing your job, then you shouldn't be doing it. It's not that hard a concept.

So I mentioned that while I loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it was quite possibly my favorite fandom ever, I still loathed a ton of stuff that was done on the show. Which, hey, who can't say that about every fandom they've been in?

But now that I've said I could make a list of stuff that really, really, really angered me, I can't exactly stop myself from some hardcore bitching. I don't think I have to warn you that the opinions expressed herein are bound to piss somebody off. Therefore ...

I have now strung up the purple Halloween lights on the wall behind my computer kind of like the laces on a pair of sneakers. The thing is, I had to avoid the picture I put up on the wall to inspire me for the TroNoWriMo on which I physically based the main character.

So, if Dominic Monaghan makes a wrong turn at Albuquerque and ends up in my bedroom, he's going to think I'm seriously fucking disturbed.

EDIT: Damn it, I should not have to wait until next week to go see Shaun of the Dead! Can't I get some sort of early dispensation because my birthday's in eleven days? *throws temper tantrum*

So, what I'm getting at is ...

I don't think it should be so hard to find a photo of Kermit the Frog screaming and waving his arms for iconing purposes, is all.
