A few entertainment-related things

-- I'm not watching it so much as occasionally catching a few minutes here and there and gaping in horror, but Guiding Light looks so freakin' cheap anymore. They've switched over to handheld cameras and lots of outside shoots and it makes most of the actors look awful and nearly every single set look like it's made out of water paints and particle board.

-- Okay, I've only ever seen the "Slap Bet" episode and yet I've been watching the last minute and a half of the last new episode of HIMYM for, you know, the obvious reason. :)

-- Wargames is on AMC tonight. Sweet! I haven't seen that movie in ages.

-- I know that I don't talk about it much anymore because ... well, frankly, it's spectacularly dreadful writing and it's pissing me off, but ( spoilers and speculation for Luke and Noah )

You know, I'm not Tom Cruise's number-one fan by a long shot, but when the AP releases a story that his son has gotten an acting job playing Will Smith as a teenager titled Tom Cruise's son, Connor, to make big screen debut, maybe you could try not being the douchebag who adds "adoptive" to the article title on your main page.
