Okay, that's not entirely true. I did get half of my apartment cleaned -- the bedroom and office I can fiinish in about an hour, and the kitchen is still a disaster area -- but then I got horrible stomach cramps and every muscle in my body started to ache in that fun once-a-month sort of way, and finally I said, "Fuck it," and went to bed before Gossip Girl and the only reason I didn't sleep later was because my cat wakes me up every morning at precisely 7:30.
Also, I haven't eaten since noon yesterday. Unless we're counting Giant Chewy Nerds, which we're not.
Oh, and I'm behind on my
getyourwordsout pledge. God, I may just spend today working on something else so I have something fresh in my head. Staring at the same unfinished chapters for so long and squeezing out a few words at a time is not doing anything for my self-esteem, and God knows I've got a bunch of other novels begging me to look at them. I just ... ugh. I have such wretched writer's block right now, and I think it would get wrenched back into gear if I worked on something else today. I'm just not sure what because nothing else seems to be making my brain giddy. Hmph. *ponders*
I just need to get rid of everything that's distracting me right now, which comes down to a list of two problems:
1. I need to finish cleaning my apartment so that I can't be sitting here thinking, "Well, I could be cleaning my apartment ..."
2. I may need to delete Slumdog Millionaire from my hard drive to keep myself from wasting half the day trying to learn the credits dance. Yes, I know.
