About the Voice last night.
Jun. 22nd, 2011 09:53 amI think that the final four will end up being Beverly, Vicci, Dia, and Javier. And that Javier will win, but that Bev, Vicci, and Dia will all get snapped up as well.
And possibly that Blake will adopt Xenia.
(Also, I keep thinking that whichever one of them is choosing her songs, what they really should have done was something less ... huge. Her voice is smoky and lovely and subtle, for God's sake. I would have had her sing Norah Jones' "Sunrise", maybe. I love that song, it's more intimate, and her voice is perfect for it.)
Here, have the best performance of a night filled with really great performances all around.
Have I mentioned how much I love Vicci? Seriously, Team Lesbian (Bev and Vicci) is the best team on there, but I could talk about how much I love Beverly all day long. Vicci, though -- man, Cee Lo keeps mentioning her "warrior spirit", and YES. YES YES YES. She's this tiny woman with this HUGE voice, and she attacks the stage every damn time. She doesn't just stand there and make love to the microphone, she screams at the mike and lets her voice be heard. She's fucking fantastic.
