That opening performance was amazing and beautiful, so of course it was Wade and Amanda who choreographed it.

I am starting to love Ashleigh and Jakob as much as Legacy and Kathryn. (And Ellenore and Ryan, on some level, although they had a very weak night with that hip hop but made up for it last night as far as I'm concerned.) So seeing them go on stage with Kevin and Karen is like hearing a death kneel for Karen and Kevin.

Aaaand that result was unsurprising.

Again, not surprised. Russell and Noelle had a really great night, and Victor and Channing were saddled with lousy music and choreography that wasn't quite up to snuff. (That said, they themselves did quite well with what they got.)

Okay, they put Nathan and Mollee and Legacy and Kathryn on stage? Are the puppies going to make the bottom three? Because I can't see Legacy and Kathryn making bottom three after that performance last night and also it seems like a lot of people on the fan boards are getting burned out on the "dream team" bullshit.

Maybe it's just me, but it feels weird that Legacy and Kathryn held hands but Nathan and Mollee weren't touching at all.

Oh, for God's sake, Nigel, you want to know why they're in the bottom three? Because we're sick of hearing you kiss their ass CONSTANTLY. I can't imagine how it's got to feel to be Kevin, Karen, Channing and Victor hanging back waiting to do their solos and listening to you pretty much guarantee you won't kick out Nathan or Mollee. UGH.

BOLLYWOOD! \o/

Okay, see, Nigel, here's why you should shut up. Because Karen didn't dance, she just posed sexy. Kevin = lame. Channing = meh. Victor ... much better than the others so far. Mollee ... so she can tumble, I guess. Nathan ... well, that's better than Kevin, at least.

You know what? I like Mollee. I think she's a very good dancer. But OH MY GOD, Nigel, SHUT UP. So I'm glad she's staying because she does deserve to be there over these two but SHUT UP NIGEL FUUUUUUUCK.

That said ... Channing. Yeah, saw that coming a mile away.

Aaaand of course, they're getting rid of Kevin. Aw, Kevin. But can't really argue that one, either. On the bright side, Victor and Karen! I like that pairing! I feel like that pairing would have been good from the very beginning.

"Other Asian"? *headsmack*

I wasn't shipping Artie with Quinn, but it's suddenly tempting.

Brittany and Santana singing a ballad to one another? I've gotten a new femmeslash pairing for this show!

"Glenn Beck is on!" Oh, good Lord.

"It's not like we're getting married." D:

Oh, Rachel, honey.

I ... kinda love Terri for that.

Rachel? Fragile? Has he MET Rachel?

Okay, Will/Kurt bonding is maybe my favorite.

Aw, Finn.

Dear Burger King, I'm not on Team Jacob or Team Edward, I'm on Team Speeding Interstate Bus.

Kurt. Sweetie. You're trying too hard.

"The square root of four is rainbows" may need to be my new journal name.

Nice performance, Will, but yeah, I can't believe you actually thought that was going to work.

Women are nuts. Thanks for tonight's lesson, Glee!

Oh, Rachel, you did NOT.

OH FINN YOU ARE NOT. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH APPALLED-EMOTICON-FACES IN THE WORLD FOR THIS.

I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE SCREEN.

... what in the HELL?

I heart Finn's mom.

Aaaand I'm happy that the show subverted at least some of the "women are crazy!" BS at the end.

Okay, this is kinda sweet. And it requires Finn to sit out AND hasn't featured Rachel in the lead. Bonus! Artie and Mercedes in the lead is definitely preferable.

I thought Mollee's solo was garbage.

It was TUMBLING. Great tumbling, but tumbling nonetheless. I watch to see dancing. If I wanted to see something small and cute bounce around on TV, I'd watch a Gummi Bears cartoon. Ugh, Mollee.

Karen's was garbage too.

Ugh, it was just so much POSING. The one thing that I liked about Channing's solo -- although it was kinda boring and lame -- was that it was actually DANCING. Karen threw her Nigel-approved sensuality onto the stage and Mollee just did a bunch of flips.

I missed Karen's solo. Mollee looked a cheerleader out there.

Yeah, I still don't see the new "maturity" in Mollee's dancing.

Maybe it's the straightened hair and the leather pants?

... yeah, I don't get it either.

The fact that they kept Karen after that sexpot posing routine is ridiculous. But no matter; I'm sure she'll be gone next week.

And I have to admit that Victor gained some points for me by picking a Chris Garneau song to dance to. The guy's not that well known, but his music is fantastic.

OH MY GOD.

THAT IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO TELL ANYONE ANYTHING.

LET ALONE YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S PARENTS THAT YOU'VE IMPREGNATED HER.

OH MY GOD.

Is that an actual song? How creepy...

FINN. FINN. FINN.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS, BUT NEVER LISTEN TO KURT AGAIN.

Uh-huh, and it's exactly as appalling as it sounds.

No one is coming out of this episode looking good except Quinn. And Finn's mom.

But yay Quinn in this episode!

Both Emma and Kurt, as much as I love them, need to realize that song is not the right medium for sending any serious message. Even Hallmark cards would be better.

I wonder... does Hallmark have a card that says, "Sorry I knocked up your little girl!"?

Karen's solo reminded me of movies like Flashdance, where the heroine is this ~raw talent~ on the dance floor who gets trained by... someone and it all leads up to an audition that appears incredibly not good at all yet inexplicably lands her a full scholarship to Juilliard or wtfever.

"Sorry, Channing. You are the better dancer, but we're just digging Karen so much more." Ugh, couldn't he have put it in a less blatantly douchetastic way?

This was a better episode than last week's, but I'm so disappointed that they didn't follow up on the duet thing properly. I want to hear Puck and Mercedes together! Or the Two Designated Asians! I mean, hallelujah for Artie and Mercedes soloing and the show for once not making a big deal about how diverse and progressive it's being just for giving characters apart from Finn and Rachel a frickin' chance.

Yeah. Way to stick a pin in just how skeeeeeeeeeeevy the whole Purity Ball thing is \o/

They really had me at the end, both with Finn's mom and the whole club serenading the not-so-happy couple.

I'm actually weirdly upset with Mercedes smacking Puck with the whole "siring a child does not make you a father".

Which...yes, BUT -

- Puck is not that guy. We've already seen in his sweet, yet criminal way that he wants to do right by his kid. And unlike Finn who seems to be numbly hoping it will all become a bad dream most of the time - Puck is thinking in terms of practical things. I'm sorry...he gets points for that in my book.

Yes, ultimately it has to be Quinn's choice, but the show can't ask me to feel sorry for Finn being denied his child and then turn around and expect me to dismiss Puck not getting a say.

And another thing...
