apocalypsosI haven't gotten to watch the Doctor Who NYE special yet, although to be fair I haven't seen anything since Donna got dumped back on Earth with her memories of the Doctor gone because that just pissed me off too much, but I do follow everybody else's spoilery reaction posts out of curiosity.
I will say this, though. What amuses me most, as someone who's a very casual DW fan at the most, is how the general reaction to Matt Smith so far is "Meh. I want MY Doctor back!" and a general hesitancy towards believing he'll be any good, because I distinctly recall David Tennant getting pretty much the EXACT same reaction after the regeneration into Ten. Heh.
