Otis is helping me rearrange furniture.

-- Every time I empty a shelf or a cabinet he immediately crawls inside and refuses to leave.
-- When I flipped the carpet aside to arrange the internet and cable cords underneath he crawled into the folds and wouldn't leave.
-- When I went to move the futon he decided now would be the perfect time to sit under it.
-- "Oh, look, a precarious stack of things!" *knocks over*

... yeah, not as helpful as you think, sweetie.

My cat decided it would be fun to crawl under the treadmill while we were moving it. He ended up with his paw getting stepped on.

Mine has also been playing the role of "Douchekitten" this evening, so I know of what you speak. Favorite moment: Lifting up mattress to peer into under-platform slats piles of stuff. Not noticing Douchekitten climbing in under mattress. Setting mattress down, squishing kitten, resulting in yowl. Letting kitten out. UTTERLY ANGRY kitten totally indignant that I let her deal with the consequences of her own douchkittenly actions.

My little Misha the Rescue Kitty has spring fever. She bolts from room to room, pretends I'm chasing her, swears at birds she sees out the window, wrestles with plastic shopping bags and when I am in bed, she pounces on me and pokes my cheek with her wet nose. I figure as long as no substance gushes out of her, we're good.

Hehe. Sounds like my little whiny beasts.

Destroyer *points to icon* has this thing where she'll sit on our tallest bookshelf, grab the corner of a book on the top shelf in her teeth, extend her neck, and drop the book to the floor. We're still not sure what triggers this.
