-- I somehow managed to avoid watching the "Pants On The Ground" thing this season. Until now.
-- The downside of never having watched before is that when all of those past contestants came out on stage I knew, like, five of them.
-- I've come to realize that while I like Siobhan when she's not singing, when she is she kinda loses me somewhere between the faces she makes and the weird way she enunciates her words.
-- Janet Jackson's new haircut is gorgeous.
-- How can you go wrong with Janet fucking Jackson?
-- I just want to shamelessly rub myself against that Lee/Crystal montage. Is that so wrong?
-- For the record, they haven't announced the winner at this point, but whichever one of them it is, they both did a really great job this season.

(Okay, so here's my thing, right? This is a good thing. This is like how I felt about last season's results. AI would have had no damn clue what to do with Adam as the winner. And it would have completely screwed up what to do with Crystal. So this is OKAY. I can DIG THIS. And now if you'll excuse me, I have to GO SCRAPE strippedpink OFF THE CEILING OF THE PLANET.)

strippedpink has asked earlier this season if that's how we David Cook fans felt back in season 7. Now, with Lee winning against the judges and critics favorite just like David did, I can honestly say HELL YEAH!

I'm happy for him and his fans, but I gotta say this season, even though I didn't watch much, I'd be happy with any of the two. They're both awesome.

Yeah, I mean, at this point they're both getting record deals. But I think Lee could benefit from winning (he needs the confidence booster more than Crystal) and having that structure and oversight he'll get as the winner (whereas Crystal just needs a contract, which she'll have probably within the hour).

I firmly believe that #2 is the better slot to end up in. They always get a record deal anyway, and they aren't as restricted into terrible pop songs on their albums.
