Hey, there.

If I were to do something fairly weird -- like, say, start my own Live365 station -- would you guys be interested at all in listening to it? And perhaps, sending me an MP3 mix of your favorite songs so that I can add them to the playlist?

...

Please say yes. I just placed an order for three months worth of airtime.

And let's just remember how terrifying my taste in music can be. Aw, come on. You can't tell me having some input on the playlist of a radio station (albeit an online one) doesn't have some appeal. I was going to kind of go for the good songs and bands that never make the Top 40 stations and should, damn it, just to trounce the same 5 songs they keep playing over and over again. And also, cheese. I'm talking the kind of audio cheese that makes your brain fry and go, "Holy shit, I haven't heard that song in ages! And for good reason! *squeals excitedly anyway*" (You know what I have to do? I have to see if there's a list of the songs they used to play on The Wheel of Cheese on the radio back home. Classic example -- that song Joey Lawrence sang that one time. Now, that was three minutes of pure Velveeta.)

In semi-related news, I just downloaded "Lucas with the Lid Off" on Imesh.

See?! Please send me good music, or the eardrums get it.

Mm. <3 Would you like some Eccentric Opera MP3s? I love them--they do rearrangements of old arias and classical pieces, reworking them into glorious electronica. Did I mention that they do gorgeous choral work?! :0

I also have LOARSFSJKs of video game remixes, geek!music, and anything involving a string (or two). Oh, and some scary music like The JFK Singers.

Hit me up. ;D I love to share.

Not to spam, but I want those Eccentric Opera MP3s. The only one I've been able to find is their (cover?) called "Ai no Fugue," which was used as the opening theme to an anime. I love that song very, very much (user name inspired by it)...and I'd love to know where you got some more. :)

Yay! Another Eccentric Opera fan! I don't have tons of MP3s, but I do have enough to keep the fangirl in me at bay. ;D Ai No Fugue was the first song I heard by them--it's the OP of Nazca, and it's brilliant.

Do you have AIM? I could try and send 'em to you that way. :D Send your AIM!name and I'll try and hook you up!

(As to where I found them: arduous searching on WinMX, days after days. People don't want to share 'em, it seems! *sigh*)

Yay! Any MP3s by Eccentric Opera would work for me; all I have is the Nazca opening, which hooked me and some friends and took forever to find, and I've always wanted to hear more of what they do.

AIM name is tyheius. I'm usually online, even if it says I'm away. :)

Ah, the sharing problem. Yeah, same here. I'm surprised I got as good a quality MP3 of "Ai no Fugue" as I did. :)
