Just a quick head's up ...

... that I've been in a school-induced haze the past few days, hence the not-really-posting-at-all. And the still-not-answering-emails thing, which AS GOD AND THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER ARE MY WITNESSES I will deal with tomorrow morning. (Those of you who gave me feedback on Heroine Addiction, I really honestly seriously VERY MUCH apologize for getting back to you sooner. School has turned me into Annie Edison, but without the ability to multitask, goddamn it.)
*shakes fist at the sky*
In any event, I did my depression presentation in my IT class and my speech class yesterday. I got a 100 on my IT presentation, and while I did go a full two minutes over my time (ugh), everybody told me I did a great job including the professor, and today when she was giving us pointers on our persuasive speech she used my speech yesterday as an example of choosing a subject you're passionate about, as she said I barely needed the Powerpoint presentation and could have easily gone on three hours about the topic based solely on my interest and knowledge of the subject. So, you know, yaaaaaaaaaaaaay. :D (Also, thanks,
etoilepb for looking at my Powerpoint for me. *hugs*)
That said, I have no clue what to do for my persuasive speech. I'm torn between something scary-serious like, "Planned Parenthood does a lot of good and is not actually evil and you are not actually buying strangers abortions with your tax dollars, SHEESH," or, "Socialism does a lot of good and is not actually evil and you ARE buying strangers a bunch of socialism with your tax dollars and always have been, JESUS HOPSCOTCHING CHRIST, PEOPLE," and something a bit less controversial like, "This is why you should try loose tea leaves," and, "This is why you should spend a half an hour a week doing something completely silly and childish, like coloring or playing with Legos," or something WAY out there, like, "This is why you should prepare for the oncoming zombie apocalypse."
Tonight, however, I have my IT final exam/assignment and my algebra homework and bonus questions to finish. If I can get them done and out of the way I am officially done with both classes as of today (I shouldn't have to take my algebra final considering my current average) and only have to worry about my speech class anymore. Woohoooooooooo.
