So in an attempt to lessen my panic attacks and general dissatisfaction with work, I just filled out an application for a home-based job through the company website.

As of this weekend, I'm officially there eighteen months, which means I can finally apply to be moved out of my current department. The thing is, I don't completely hate my current department or my current co-workers. I actually quite like my current co-workers. But I need a change, and I can't find an outside job to save my life, so applying to work at home - especially with school and winter coming on - seems like a good idea.

It means a pay cut, of course, but considering my gas costs and the amount I end up throwing away on snacks and things at the nearby Sheetz, things should even out just fine. I'm not sure I would have done it six months ago because they weren't providing health care to home workers back then, but now they offer health insurance so I'm taking a shot at it.

I think I could easily get it, because God knows I've used all of the necessary programs and know the terminology and whatnot, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm crossing my fingers, though.
