Very, very true. *sigh* I don't know much about New Mutants or X-force-well, aside from Domino-mostly because they haven't appeared at all in recent canon.

I had to go cold turkey in 2000. So, you know, not so much with the current.

But:
Dani Moonstar, Illyana Rasputin, Doug Ramsey, Rhane Sinclair, Sam Guthrie, Tabitha Smith, Teresa Cassidy, Jimmy Proudstar.

Not to mention: Shatterstar, Rictor, Sunspot, Shan, and even Magma.

They got a raw deal. Both in the comics, and in later screentime.

Meanwhile, the world gets 1001 more Gambit fics.

Bad characters need love too!

If it makes you feel any better, seven (I think) of those characters have appeared (or are starring) in one book or another recently.

I'm of an age to despise Gambit like nobody else. I can't help it.

Many of them are back in the revived NM. But they aren't ever quite allowed to be full blown 3d characters.


UC looks very cool. But I can't get sucked back in. I can't. I just can't afford to go raving nutsy over them again.
