I'm sick to fucking death of having to go into work early. Jesus.

That is all.

Oh, and you'd rather stay at home and miss the 85 degree, 90% humidity mornings here? This is character-building weather. Granted, that character is most likely Swamp Thing, but I digress...

Eighty-five degrees and 90% humidity is my kind of weather. Quite frankly, I like growing moss on my north-facing side, thank you very much.

I am now convinced that you're really the strange homeless lady who keeps hitting up people for money outside the Five Guys. No one in their right mind considers this "their kind of weather". This is not natural climate. This is weather that would make the French Foreign Legion say "fuck it, everyone into the pool". It's hot, wet, and sticky like the flatulence of Satan. In fact, that's what it shall be called. Devil's Fart Summer.

i've got to second that. Weather like that is uninhabitable. But then, I've lived in michigan most of my life. You get used to cold climates.

I third it, in a big way. I'm so glad the weather never gets like that over here. When I went to America last year, I flew over in March from London to Tampa, Florida. London: 10 degrees. Tampa: 90 degrees. I stepped out of the airport, realised it was hotter outside than it was inside (... in March... winter sometimes hangs on until April over here) and knew that I had to head due North as early as possible. Even New Orleans was bearable after Tampa. Plus, you know, actually interesting, navigable by foot and not infested with elderly relatives...

I was raised in Pennsylvania, but I wasn't truly happy until the one year we went to New Orleans for a school trip. New Orleans in May is so much worse than this, and I loved every minute of it. I think I'm like the antithesis of those people who live in Antarctica because they like the cold.

wow, can't comprehend that. Partial cloudy and a high of 68 degrees is perfect for me.

What?

how late do you have to stay?
I go into work early most days because I can't sleep and I might as well. Then I can leave around 3, and I go home and crash.

I'm supposed to be work 11:30 am-8:30 pm these days, but it's a full twelve hours or so between the time I leave the apartment and the time I get back. Urgh.

ah, I am spoiled with a somewhat flexible schedule and living 5 minutes from work. lately i don't mind being at work as much since my computer at home is down. 12 hours does suck, you have my sympathies.

More money?

Sorry you have to go to work early. That would throw my whole day off. If I, you know, actually had to go to work.
