Shaun of the Dead! Shaun of the Dead! Damn it, I can't wait until September 24th! I want to see it noooooooooooooow! *temper tantrum* I seriously need a Shaun of the Dead icon, and the movie's not even out yet. (But then again, I could say the same thing for about five of my icons already. Watching trailers makes me want to icon stuff.)

Also, I'm listening to "You're the Best" off the Karate Kid soundtrack. Again, one of those songs of which I have no idea how the hell it got on my computer. Aaaaaaand now I want to get Karate Kid. *changes song as quickly as possible*

It's finally getting an American release? Fantastic! (Of course, if you can't wait until the 24th, the R2 DVD release is at the beginning of September...)

What's it about? (I can't access the site at work.)

It's a British comedy with zombies, and it's supposed to be hysterical. The trailer alone is a riot, especially a bit where they try using records to decapitate the walking dead. Ooo, and when the two leads duet with a zombie. Ooo, and zombie line dancing. :) Hee. Must see movie.

"There is no I in team, but there is an I in pie. And there's an I in meat pie, an anagram of meat is team ... yeah, I don't know." *snerk* I love Shaun and I haven't even seen the bloody movie yet!

Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright again, and possibly the geekiest programs with the most movie-geek in-jokes EVER.

We're finally getting Shaun of the Dead here in the Colonies? Squee! Oh, man, I am seeing the first show Hoffman has. Or possibly just Potomac Mills, because I am lazy and it's closer by.

Me, too. I'm going to be at the first Hoffman showing being all fangirlish and giggly. :)

I saw it at Comic-Con, and it was the best movie I'd seen in years. Definitely be at the first showing, because you'll want to catch the second and third as well.

That looks absolutely hilarious. I must see that the day it comes out.

...I kinda want to see the Karate Kid now too.

And it has nothing to do with my crush on Ralph Macchio.

Oh man, I LOVE that movie!! Seriously love, love, love!! It's great when a film actually stands up to all the hype. I know I've already used the word love a lot in this comment, but I really think you will love this movie too.

I think it's available to buy here from Monday as well - makes me wish I actually had any money.

'shaun of the dead' iconses!

you might want to tweak the text on the 'meat pie' one. it got all blurry in translation. meh.

Heh. That's my *FAVORITE* song off that soundtrack. Bar none.

There's also another inspirational 80's "thing" on that soundtrack that I remember loving, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was right now.

I downloaded it the other day. One of the best zombie movies I've seen. Actually has a plot, well developed characters, zombies that look very zombie-like, action, romance, the living dead, comedy, and more.

Excellent movie.

LOVED that film, saw it two days after seeing both the original and remake of Dawn of the Dead (that was a scary day).

Would it be too much to hope for that you have a chat with The Voice after seeing it?

Simon Pegg is a SEX GOD. I think every episode of Spaced I saw (yay multi-region DVD players) I proposed marriage to him, and his character.

Yes. Very much so. I did, in fact, briefly have a Spaced mood theme. And then I realised it was kinda more of a Simon Pegg mood theme...
