Jesus, do I have to play catch-up this weekend. But I finished a whole chapter. Yay, me! Only thirty to seventy thousand words to go!

I should probably ignore that I said that last part if I don't want to freak out.
EDIT: Urgh. I so need a new keyboard. My right arrow key doesn't work. *pounds keyboard with a hammer* Yay, an excuse to buy a cordless!
WRITING-A-SCENE-ON-A-FARM EDIT: Is it wrong that I've actually thought about buying The Waltons on DVD? Not because I like it, because, I mean, it's The Waltons, for crying out loud. But I just want to do what my dad used to do, which is put on an episode, turn down the volume and give it an entirely new soundtrack. The last time he did it, two little old biddies were tricking John-Boy into coming down into their basement to fix their torture wheel so that they could show off their dominatrix skills to him.
Yes, my father is strange. And quite obviously, the schmuck I got my sense of humor from.
I-LOVE-MY-NEW-DEFAULT-ICON EDIT: I've been thinking of dressing up as Boo at the next Dragon*Con. Let's not even get into how wrong that is and just talk about how cute I'd look with tiny pigtails when allowed to act like a toddler in public.
