(no subject)

You know how I said I was going to write? Well, apparently my brain decided it wasn't going to write a damn thing until I cleaned my room from top to bottom. Which, you know, is a nice gesture because it means a neat bedroom, but still, I want to sit down and write more and I can't because there's a gigantic pile of garbage and old clothes on my bed right now.

I also found a bunch of nonfiction books about disasters that I'd be willing to send to anybody who wants some of 'em. You might have to wait until the next time I get paid for me to send them out, but I'll get a list up as soon as I finish cleaning my room.

Also, my purse that has the word "fuck" all over it has a broken strap. ARGH. I didn't even notice until I picked it up to move it just now. Bah.

*sigh* Back to the garbage bags ...

I don't know about you, but I can't write if I'm sitting it a pile of clutter, or even if there are things on the floor next to my chair in my little office. So that's what I'm doing today, too. Cleaning my little office.

Which means bagging up a mountain of empty Diet Coke bottles. (Hey, I support the recycling industry in Idaho all by myself!)

I'll trade you my book on Guerilla Warfare for anything in your pile. (It's an old book and it's on the theoretical side, but I obtained it from a military library book sale...)

Change "Diet Coke" to "Sprite" and that was what I was doing about an hour ago. Urgh.

But now my room is so clean, you could eat off the floor. I'm tempted to take a picture and send it to my mother with a note saying, "See? I clean my room!" , but she'd probably ask why it took me a year to send her a photo.
