EDIT: I feel like I'm waiting for a date to call me. I feel like I can't get anything done unless he calls me back, because I know damn well if he does call me back, it's going to try to persuade me to come into work today. *sigh*

you are making me nervous. call him again! say you know you will need to sleep/go vomit/go to doc/pass out from medicine and just wanted to be sure he knew you are not coming.

I'm in the middle of calling him right now. Apparently, Oh-Woe-Is-Me-Ooooo didn't bother to give him my number to call me back. *eye roll*

After talking to him, though, I'm just going to go into work a few hours later. I forgot Oh-Woe-Is-Me-Ooooo had to leave work early today to take her mother to the doctor, so I felt guilty enough to come in for a few hours. (Notice how I say all of that like I really AM sick.)

You think that's bad? Whenever I call in sick, I get sick, without fail. Right now, I'm feeling nauseous, but I'm letting myself stay nauseous because I can't go in looking all perky and stuff. :)

i'm glad you said that, because i first wanted to comment just that and then thought i'd better not or you would get sick. it's law. just like me always getting sick when on rec leave. or weekends.
