Waiting for a new episode of Lost is bad enough without the radio playing Ashlee Simpson's latest singing travesty at that one halftime show last weekend and making me collapse into hysterical giggles. *bounces around the room like a Tigger on crack laughing at Ashlee Simpson ... you know, 'cause it's easy*

God, did you hear that recording? The sick thing was that last weekend on MAD TV, they had a skit making fun of her about how badly she sang, and the fake bad singing they did in the ski was better than how she sang at the football game. The good news was the booing. Oh, the booing. *happy sigh*

Awww... I *like* Ashlee Simpson's album, although I've never seen her on television. But then for me, Red Vines is a good candy, and I think Ding-Dongs and Twinkies should be a food group. ;)

Then whatever you do, don't see her perform live. It'll fill you in on just how much she relies on the machines to pump up her vocals. The MAD TV skit where they took her caterwauling and turned it into a real song was waaaaay too close to reality. (Note: I do have "Pieces of Me" on my iPod, but mostly for the irony. The rest of the reasoning involves my already questionable taste in music.) Now that she got caught with the "backup vocals" on SNL, she's tried to cut them out of her live performances, and it's killing her.

Also, I thought Ding-Dongs and Twinkies were a food group. ;)

She was performing very, very badly, and because of the whole SNL fiasco, I guess she was going without a backup vocal on purpose. And pretty much everyone in the stadium booed loudly. It's a great audio clip if you can get a hold of it. :)

Hi, I found you through metaquotes awhile ago. Would you mind if I friended you? You just have a lot of the same interests as I do and seem really cool. (Lost, Shaun of the Dead, Jon Stewart, etc)
